A space to connect and collaborate

Finding and booking an affordable event space is so challenging in the Greater Seattle area. There are so many buildings and so many people, yet we were not able to find a suitable event space to connect with the community. We want to create a comfortable and useful event space to give back to our community and continue building connections.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

A STATIONERY SHOP

Poi & Hun started in our studio apartment in 2018. We stored products next to the TV and packed orders on our dining table. In 2020, we grew and continued to hustle in the basement studio and “wareroom” of our house. In 2022, we moved into this Redmond, WA space for our first official warehouse.

While growing our small e-commerce business, we always wanted to connect with our followers and customers and realized we have the space to make it happen, so we created a mini retail shop. Since our plan is to grow into this space over the next few years, we decided to utilize the extra space to create a coworking and event space for the community to connect.

MULTI PASSIONATE ENTREPRENEUR

Holly has created multiple businesses that have promoted community and growth within the small business community. Holly started Mint To Inspire to host events and connect businesses in 2014 and Sparkle & White in 2016 to help small businesses with graphic design and product photography. She creates content for her YouTube Channel, Life With Holly Lifestyle on the side as well. In 2018, Holly and her now husband started Poi & Hun in their studio apartment in Portland.

Holly has always loved supporting small businesses by connecting and supporting them whenever possible. She attends as many markets as possible to fully embrace #shopsmall and give back to the community that has educated her so much in her entrepreneurial journey.
